Select Branding from the Project menu of Woodford to display or edit information about the application and its manufacturer. Additional parameters can be viewed in the About section of Woodford.

  • Manufacturer – This is displayed in the About section of the app.
  • Title – This is displayed in the About section of the app, but also on the home screen. It is also included in the log files.
  • Subtitle – This is displayed in the About section of the app, and written to the log. (When inspecting the logs, unique title and subtitle can help the support verify that users have the right app project installed.)
  • Icon – This is displayed in the About section of the app. This is a different image than the home screen logo.
  • Website – This is displayed in the About section of the app.
  • Support Email – You can enter your company’s support email address if you want to take care of the first level support on your own. In this case, the logs from the application will be sent to the specified email.
You can also specify multiple email addresses separated by semicolon. However, this option is not supported if you are using Resco web service for sending mail (for example, when using the Microsoft Store version of the app, or when Send Error Logs via Resco is set to true).

Email verification

Optionally, you can verify the support email address. Verification is required if you are sending error logs via Resco.

  • Upon saving, click Verify to send a verification email with a code to the configured email address.
  • Enter the code from the email to proceed with saving.
